Rotary Water is planned to support Clean Water and the Rotary Brand
Clean water is a basic need for human beings. When people, especially children, have access to clean water, they live healthier and more productive lives. However, at least 3,000 children die each day from diseases caused by unsafe water, which is what motivates our members to build wells, install rainwater harvesting systems, and teach community members how to maintain new infrastructure.
Marc Harris (Rotary Club of Windermere), and Ron Janssen (Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips and 2018-2019 District Governor Designee) are developing ROTARY WATER to help fund clean water products around the world and enhance the Rotary brand. ROTARY WATER plans to bottle ROTARY branded water and sell it to Rotarians for their personal use and for Rotary Clubs to sell at fund raising events, or give away at recruiting and retention events. The leadership of District 6980 is supportive of this project, as are several other districts. Steve Fasen (Rotary Club of Windermere) designed the label.
