One of our proudest and most intriguing projects is the relationship we have with local high school students. Currently we sponsor three Interact clubs and award scholarships to especially deserving students each year.
Interact is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Through Interact, students can:
- Carry out hands-on service projects
- Make international connections
- Develop leadership skills
- Have fun!
Each Rotary Interact Group requires the endorsement of the administration at the school in which the Interact Club resides. Students receive community service credits for their participation and projects. The club is over-seen by an OCPS teacher sponsor and a student board. This board consists of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
